May gardens are green and lush with the recent sun and rains. Flowers stretching tall to reach the light. Buttercups, cow parsley and hawthorn blossom on the hedgerows. Swifts and swallows arrive from winters away to set up home for the summer. Nests are now full of pale eggs, waiting patiently to hatch.
