About me

Hi, I'm Sarah,

I am a watercolour illustrator, and produce a range of art prints, greetings cards and bespoke gifts all featuring my artwork. I love using colour and creating bright and meaningful imagery that serves as a souvenir, keepsake or a commemorative piece.

My background in design and my love for painting merged when I set up my own small business producing cards and gifts from my home in Bedfordshire. Initially a creative outlet, but which has blossomed into something much more rewarding!

For my entire life I have been a collector of objects and artwork that remind me of special places I have been or big moments in my life, a local craft from my travels, a beautifully designed piece or just an unusually shaped stone collected on a walk!...and my home is proof of that!

I love to keep things that mean something to me, that way our home becomes an authentic way of telling our story. It's personal, individual and unique.

I love hearing from customers so please do not hesitate to get in touch!

My background:

I have loved to draw ever since I was a child, growing up on a farm. The rural setting provided me with so much inspiration!

After school I completed an Art and Design Foundation course and then went on to train in Interior Design in Leicester.

Following that I spent 11 years working in London. My longest and most exciting role was 8 years as a Designer in a Retail Design company.

This role involved designing interiors for high end clothes and accessory shops on Bond Street,

Rolling out cake shops across the capital.

Designing retail outlets for the London Olympic park.

Even involvement in redesigning animal enclosures for a large UK zoo!

As a Designer this required lots of technical drawing and digital visualisations.

In London I kept up with my hand sketching by doing evening classes. But it was while at home with my second child that I took up painting again!..

My work

My recent work has featured in Progressive Greetings Magazine.

It is stocked in the Northampton Musuem & Art Gallery and 78 Derngate, the Charles Rennie Mackintosh house.
